Video game music concerts have been a part of the fandom for decades. But starting next year, Sony is bringing its own concert series, PlayStation: The Concert, to music-loving gamers in 200 cities around the world.
Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Sid Shuman made the announcement via the PlayStation blog. RoadCo Entertainment, and GEA Live are partnering with Sony for PlayStation: The Concert, which will feature the music from The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, God of War, and more beloved Sony titles.
“With video game music stepping into the global spotlight, PlayStation: The Concert is poised to redefine what a music experience can be,” said Shuman. “This is more than just a show; it’s the ultimate video game concert experience, embodying PlayStation’s innovative spirit and pushing the limits of what’s possible; from your console to stages around the world… Fans will experience a stunning fusion of multi-layered visuals, immersive surround sound, and an all-star ensemble blending classical and modern instruments.”
Only a handful of European tour dates have been announced so far, including the initial concert on April 19, 2025 in Dublin, Ireland. The stops in the United States, and other countries will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, European fans can visit the official site and use an early access code, PLAYCONCERT24, to purchase tickets starting on Wednesday, October 16 at 7am PT. Tickets will go on sale for the general public on October 18.
