Even though Grand Theft Auto Online isn’t available on Nintendo Switch, that might not deter Rockstar from bringing GTA+ to the hybrid system. That’s because a website update pointed to the subscription service possibly coming to Switch.

VGC reported that Switch briefly appeared as a supported GTA+ platform on Rockstar’s website. However, any mention has now been scrubbed, with the service only available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. GTA+ coming to Switch would be somewhat surprising, since one of its main benefits is extras for GTA Online–which is part of GTA V, a game not available on Nintendo’s system.

Should GTA+ come to Nintendo Switch, it would likely unlock access to Rockstar titles like LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption, and GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. All of these are available on Nintendo’s system. GTA+ runs $8 per month, with no annual option.

In other GTA news, a classic GTA cheat code recently popped up in an unexpected place: tattooed on a rookie in the NBA Summer League. Terrence Shannon Jr., a first-round draft pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves, has the PlayStation inputs for infinite ammo from GTA: San Andreas inked on his left forearm.

As for GTA Online, the online game got a long-requested feature earlier this month, but it’s actually locked behind a GTA+ membership. The Vinewood Club app is something players can access from their phones in the game to buy ammo and cars, but using it requires subscribing to GTA+.
