As part of the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft and Machine Games released an impressive new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Many were expecting the game to also get a release date during the showcase, but that did not happen. The game remains on track for release in 2024, but Microsoft has not confirmed a release date as of yet–it’s rumored to debut in November, however.
The trailer showed Indiana Jones, voiced by Troy Baker, escaping the clutches of his Nazi captors in a scene that looked like it could have come out of the film series. In the sequence, we see Indy and a character named Gina (Alessandra Mastronardi) making a “startling discovery” in the snowy Himalayas. Here’s the trailer:
The Great Circle takes place between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. Like the movies, the game will tell a globetrotting story that follows Indy facing off against “sinister forces” to try to find the truth behind The Great Circle.
The game is in the works for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and Game Pass subscribers will be able to play it at launch.
