The latest patch for Ubisoft’s military FPS XDefiant is out now, addressing a number of issues, including for instances where the game would crash. There are also miscellaneous fixes and security improvements.

In particular, this update fixes a problem on PS5 that allowed players to access areas they should not have been able to. Additionally, XDefiant had missing terrain textures when joining matches already in progress on some maps, and those have now been addressed.

There are a variety of fixes for XDefiant’s social features, too, and the patch notes are humorously written. For example, the patch fixes an issue that could cause the game to crash when people spammed the button to open and close party invites. Ubisoft said, “But who would even do that, calm down.”

You can see the full XDefiant patch notes below, as shared by Ubisoft on the XDefiant website.

After overcoming launch-day server issues, XDefiant has reportedly reached more than 8 million players. The free-to-play game is available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC (but not on Steam).
