Thrice Upon a Time is a terrific movie that brings the story of Shinji and his fellow Eva Unit pilots to a satisfying conclusion. As mentioned, Amazon is currently offering a great discount on Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Complete Series on Blu-ray, which drops the price to $36 (was $60). And if you’re really looking to spoil yourself, the Neon Genesis Evangelion soundtrack is another great purchase. This LP release has two translucent blue vinyls adorned with ethereal black smoke and is housed in a colored gatefold jacket with illustrations of the series.

Finally, if you’re not looking to add to your Blu-ray collection, you can catch these films on Prime Video. They’re all available to stream–as part of an Amazon Prime subscription–but with the ephemeral nature of the streaming market, who knows how long they’ll be up for? And since the first movie is out of stock in physical format, Prime Video is a good option–even if you wind up watching the others on Blu-ray.
