When it comes to portable gaming devices, it’s hard to beat the Nintendo Switch. This handheld gaming console gets a lot right, but if it does have a weakness, in that it’s not the most comfortable to use for long stretches. Fortunately, there’s a pretty good Prime Big Deal Days special–if you’re a Prime subscriber–on one of Hori’s Split-Pad controllers, as you can get one decked out in Pac-Man colors for $38 (was $$60).
Hori Pac-Man Split-Pad controller
This particular model is a nice compromise between the regular Joy-Con that comes with a Switch console and other third-party controllers that adopt a more traditional design. Hori’s controller is designed to nestle in your hands more naturally, and it comes with several extra features like programmable turbo buttons for when you need some rapid inputs and customizable rear-triggers. The Pac-Man design is also quite attractive, as it makes your Switch look like a maze for the little yellow chomper to run through while he avoids Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde.
If you’d prefer a different design, Hori also offers a Pokemon version of this controller adorned with Eevee and several of its Eevee-lutions. This one is usually $90, but you can grab it for $68 right now and proudly display it as a piece of art that celebrates one of the best Pokemon.

Beyond Hori’s range, there are also several Nitro controllers and cradles that have been discounted as well. Super Smash Bros. fans will want to check out this GameCube-inspired controller from NYXI that has been marked down by 25%, as this combines a retro design with modern flourishes. This model is also available in several other colors, in case you’re not a fan of the default purple design.

This connects to the Switch via the USB-C port on the bottom of the console, and standard features include Hall Effect joysticks, four programmable back buttons, Bluetooth support, and more. These are normally $60 each, but you can get one for $40 right now.
