Microsoft has confirmed its plans for Tokyo Game Show this year, and the company is teasing that there will be news about “games coming to Xbox Game Pass.”

Microsoft’s TGS 2024 broadcast takes place on Thursday, September 26, beginning at 7 PM local time in Japan. That works out to 3 AM PT, 6 AM ET, and 11 AM in the UK.

“We warmly welcome players around the world to tune in as we share content from Xbox Game Studios, Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, and Bethesda. We’ll also showcase an exciting lineup of games from third-party partners primarily based in Japan and across Asia, including games coming to Xbox Game Pass,” Microsoft said.

During the Xbox briefing at TGS in 2023, Microsoft announced a range of titles coming to Game Pass, including Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Persona 3 Reload, and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, among others.

Fans can tune in to the event through the Tokyo Game Show’s official YouTube channel, along with “select” Xbox social channels. Microsoft will broadcast the event in Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, French, French Canadian, German, Arabic (MSA), Filipino, Hindi, Italian, Maori, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Mexican Spanish and Turkish. There will also be sign language broadcasts.

Beyond Microsoft’s own TGS event, Kojima Productions will host a panel for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach during TGS, led by Hideo Kojima himself. Filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn, a friend and collaborator, will be on hand as well to discuss the sequel.
