Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is now out in the wild for people who ponied up the cash for the Gold or Ultra editions of the sequel. As such, publisher Focus Entertainment wants these early-access players to “share the glory, not the story.”

On X, Focus posted a graphic asking Space Marine 2 players to be mindful of others out there who won’t get to play the third-person shooter until next week. Early access begins today for the sequel, while the standard release is September 9. With that in mind, the image states: “No spoilers! Every space marine out there deserves the thrill of discovering the game’s story on their own.”

The story does sound pretty captivating. GameSpot’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 review highlights how “the sense of scale is tremendous, both in terms of your enemy and the world around you,” for instance.

Players can also squad up together in Space Marine 2’s campaign, with the sequel offering cross-play and cross-save options. However, in PvP, PC and console players will be separated for competitive reasons.

Looking ahead, don’t expect any microtransactions for Space Marine 2. Instead, “any paid DLCs will be cosmetic only,” according to developer Saber Interactive.
