PC Tarnishes rejoice! The popular Seamless Co-op mod now works with Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. As the name suggests, this mod makes it significantly easier for PC players to join one another’s world.
Thanks to PC Gamer, we know that a moderator in the ER Seamless Co-op Discord shared a message on behalf of Luki Yui, the creator of the mod, that reads: “While not perfect, it has reached a state where it can be used to play Elden Ring and the DLC in co-op.”
When Shadow of the Erdtree launched last month, the mod wasn’t available because much of the game had changed. Yui needed to ensure that the mod would be the latest build of the game. Now, co-op saves made with the mod can be taken into the expansion, and for the first time ever, it now supports invasions. Players can even fight the Evergaol bosses together now.
The same moderator shared another message on behalf of Yui on how the new Scadutree Fragment won’t affect those using the mod.
“The DLC has added many new mechanics, interesting edge cases and underlying code changes–some of which would seem mundane to the player–but have required new solutions for them to work correctly,” The moderator said. “Fortunately, the Scadutree Fragments and Revered Spirit Ashes are very much localized and do not require any special synchronization.”
