World of Warcraft: The War Within is launching August 26, and it’ll mark the 10th expansion for World of Warcraft. It also marks the start of a new trilogy–the Worldsouls Saga–which begins with The War Within and will run across two subsequent expansions, Midnight and The Last Titan. Plenty of updates and new content are arriving with The War Within and if you’re a long-time WoW fan, you might want to consider preordering The War Within: Collector’s Edition for $180, as it gets you a bunch of exclusive content along with access to the upcoming expansion.
The collector’s edition comes with numerous of physical collectibles, including a 208-page Art of The War Within hardcover book with a slipcase, a collector’s pin, and the 20th Anniversary Gryphon Rider statue (9.5 x 9 x 13 inches). Considering the Epic Edition of the game, which comes with this collector’s set, costs $90, you’re getting these collectibles for only $90.
World of Warcraft: The War Within: Collector’s Edition was created by Blizzard as a way to celebrate both the launch of the 10th expansion and to commemorate WoW’s 20th anniversary. Your preorder gets you the Epic Edition of The War Within, which includes WoW: Dragonflight, early access to The War Within, a Level 70 Boost, 1,000 Trader’s Tender, 30 days of game time, and a bunch of other in-game goodies.
World of Warcraft: The World Within Collector’s Edition
That’s a pretty impressive lineup of collectibles and in-game goodies, making this an enticing option for dedicated World of Warcraft fans.
If you’re not interested in this collector’s edition, you can preorder The War Within: Base Edition for $50, Heroic Edition for $70, and Epic Edition for $90. Each comes with more in-game content than the last, but only the Epic Edition includes early access and beta access to The War Within. All three are available on Battle.net.
